Regent’s Park

Regents Park is one of the Royal Parks of London, it spans a total of 395 acres and is located towards the north-west of the city. The area was originally used for farming and hunting, but after being scouted out by Price Regent as a potential summer home location, a park began to take shape. Although the summer palace was never fully built, the park was re-landscaped and opened to the public in 1835.

Regents Park has a range of activities to keep you entertained all day long. You can stroll through its many flower gardens including Queen Mary’s Gardens and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafes spread throughout the park. There are also special events held there depending on the time of year. The park is free to enter, but certain activities may be priced.

Nearby attractions include Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and Camden Market.

Visitors can reach the park by getting off at Regent’s Park station just outside of the area, which you can get to via the Bakerloo Line.
