Selfridges

Selfridges is an iconic department store founded in 1906 by Harry Gordon Selfridge, with its current flagship store on Oxford Street. Since its opening on 15th March 1909, Selfridges has opened branches in Birmingham, Manchester Exchange Square and Manchester Trafford.

Considered as a London landmark, Selfridges has enjoyed great accolades: ‘Best Department Store in the World’ three times in Global Department Store Summits 2010, 2012 and 2014, as well as World’s Best Sustainability Campaign by a Department Store Award at the Global Department Store Summit 2016.The store features a wide range of brands both luxury and affordable, with over 400 brands of products such as womenswear, menswear and beauty brands. Themed Store windows change seasonally, which is especially beautiful around Christmas time.

Hyde Park, Oxford Street and the Marble Arch are nice distractions nearby.

The store is open on bank holidays, to get there, travel to Bond Street by Tube via Central or Jubilee Line.
